It's been a while

Wow! time does fly...
It has been a busy season with very little time to post, however I should do so. This is just a time for me to relax and put my thoughts in order.

I have been busy looking for unusual beads and nothing is more beautiful than vintage. Lovely uniquely handpainted mini creation of arts made by hand. They may not be precious but they represent a period where things were done carefully and with intense detail and passion. I love them.

The summer season is just around the corner, absolutely incredible, we are just about to celebrate our one year anniversary, just last year we started with a small collection of 50 items on our website ... this year? we are now up to 300!

I am so excited about summer, the warm weather, the cool sunny afternoons and fun days at the beach. One thing summer brings to my mind is vivid colors: Bright shades of juicy fruits, sweet sherbet coolness, green grass, stunning floral shades. In summer I love to wear unexpected bold bright jewelry, fun, playful and uninhibited. This is the time to get wild with materials with shapes, shades and everything in between.

This season I am having a blast with bright colors: Apple green mohave turquoise, bright czech glass, clear bright murano glass and stunning unique vintage handpainted beads. Here is a little peek of some of such beautiful beads:

and continuing with our Glossary time:
Art Nouveau: This jewelry period started in the 1890s and ended with the onset of World War I. Itfeatured various free-flowing natural motifs, including dragonflies, butterflies, and curvaceousfloral designs, along with female faces.
